Anoka-Hennepin Schools’ superintendent Cory McIntyre announced his intent to not seek renewal of his contract after his current term expires, June 30, 2026. The Anoka-Hennepin School Board will determine a pathway forward to ensure a strong transition and district leadership plan in advance of the 2026-27 school year.

The Anoka-Hennepin School District Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC) will host a parent resource event featuring guest speakers from the school district to inform families about resources available at schools in the district.

Students from all five Anoka-Hennepin high schools (Andover, Anoka, Blaine, Champlin Park and Coon Rapids) participated in events on February 4, marking National Signing Day.

The Anoka-Hennepin School District is hosting an in-person hiring event for operational and student support positions on Wednesday, Feb. 11, from 3-5 p.m. at the Educational Service Center located at 2727 N Ferry St. in Anoka. Enter through Door 7.

The Coon Rapids High School 2026 Snow Daze event will be held Friday, Feb. 20, from 7-10 p.m. at Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America.
